China Academy of Machinery Shenyang Research Institute of Foundry Co., Ltd. (thereafter referred to as SRIF), established in 1957， is the oldest and largest state-level foundry technology research institute in China with a top-ranking comprehensive strength.SRIF has established 19 provincial or higher-level technology innovation platforms based on the State Key Laboratory of Advanced Casting Technologies” in China. SRIF has established a multi-site industrial layout covering nine major foundry technology sectors and three centers, including special steel, electro-slag, aluminum-magnesium alloy, titanium alloy, superalloy and copper alloy castings, foundry materials, foundry equipment, and complete processing and manufacturing, as well as new technology research, test, and industry service centers.
